Illinois Father Charged with Throwing Newborn For Crying

18-year-old Nicholas Fecarota, an Illinois man admitted that he threw his newborn son multiple times to get him to stop crying.

On Friday, Minooka police responded to a call about a 3-week-old baby boy who was not breathing. The baby was transported to Morris Hospital and pronounced dead a short time later due to a skull fracture.

Fecarota was taken into custody by Minooka police and charged with first degree murder in the death of his 3-week-old baby. 

After interviewing Fecarota, police say he admitted to throwing the baby multiple times to make him stop crying.
