A south side woman is retiring after serving as a crossing guard for more than 50 years.
Roxie Calhoun has been the crossing guard of Irving Park Road and 11th Street for the past 41 years.
Not only is she well loved by everyone who crosses her path, but she has quite the commute to get there. It takes over an hour to get there (2 trains and a bus!)
