Naperville Artist Paralyzed by Gunshot Learns how to Paint Using Her Mouth

Naperville artist Mariam Pare has become a master of painting with her mouth and her work was chosen for a special Christmas card sale.

Pare was just 20-years-old when she was paralyzed by a gunshot wound. After learning to write her name with her mouth, she became inspired to try to paint as well. She holds the brush with her mouth and is making beautiful works of art!

Her art has been selected to be included in a special Christmas card sale, and will be seen by people all over the world!
