Linda Dian of Lynwood, IL found a terrifying scene when she arrived home over the weekend. A wheel from an apparent aircraft flying over dropped from the sky and through her roof!!
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, authorities believe its a dolly wheel assembly from a helicopter and most likely from the nearby Lansing Municipal Airport a few blocks from her house.
The FAA is investigating which aircraft the piece fell from.
Dian says Lynwood Fire Department firefighters pushed the wheel out the roof and took it away.
We should all actually be grateful it hit her roof and not a person! Very scary regardless!
