Great news for Metra riders! There will be upgrades for many train cars next year...and the bonus, no fare hikes!
They expect $2.6 billion in revenue in next five years which will go toward lots of improvements.
- Rail cars and locomotives bought and rehabilitated
- ADA upgrades to stations and parking lots
- More rail yard space and old bridge replacements
What about more FAST wi-fi options? That's at the top of my list of needs.
