How to Keep Your Child's Knit Gloves Dry in the Snow

Thick, waterproof gloves are great in freezing temperatures, but they severely limit finger mobility when it comes to building snowmen.

This is why little kids often prefer to wear knit gloves in the snow, even though they tend to get really wet.

But, Lifehacker suggests putting thin, vinyl gloves - often used in kitchens for food handling or dishwashing - over the knit gloves in order to keep the latter pair dry.
