The list was made by gathering up all the sales that were made in the Chicagoland area and finding which areas were the highest price. Number one most expensive place to live in Chicago, zip code 60043, which is up north in Kenilworth, with the average price being at 1.24 Million Dollars. The most expensive place within the city, 60603, which is just west of the river, with prices almost half of Kenilworth.
