Chicago Bulls Were "Traveling Cocaine Circus" Before Michael Jordan Arrived

ESPN's 10-part docuseries about the Chicago Bulls' sixth and final championship run of the 1990s debuted on Sunday night, providing illuminating insight into just how down and out the team was when Michael Jordan arrived for his rookie year in 1984.

As The New York Post notes, Jordan said that one time, when he entered a teammate's hotel room, he found "practically the whole team" snorting lines of cocaine, smoking weed and flirting with groupies.

For his part, Jordan's teammates said His Airness never participated in what one newspaper called the team's "traveling cocaine circus," as his drink of choice was "orange juice and 7-Up," according to former teammate Rod Higgins.
