Chicago Childrens' Theater Helps out During Spring Break

This city is so great, from day one of the quarantine we have all stuck together to fight this virus and show that Chicago can do anything. Nothing shows this more than all of the Chicago organizations and groups that are spending all of their time helping their communities.

One of these groups is the Chicago Childrens’ Theater, who is working on the home front by providing a new alternative to Spring Break. By trying to give parents a break from teaching and watching the kids, the Chicago Childrens’ Theater is offering the Spring Break Red Kite Camp, a class that focuses on a wide variety of educational topics while still entertaining the kids specifically for children who are on the Autism Spectrum.

The organizers say that they hope this would be a way to help kids still get a sense of camaraderie while trying to escape the isolation of staying at home. If you would like to know more about this class and maybe need a little break from teaching at home, you can head over to the main article here, and thank you to Chicago Children’s theater for stepping up and finding a way to help out the community!
