The Chicago Lakefront and 606 Trail is Back Open

While the parks around the city have been open for a while now, one major park is finally back open to the public, the Lakefront!.

This is the first time it will be open since its closure back in March. The opening does come with new rules to make sure it stays open including limited access points and hours, the requirement of face masks, requirements of constant movement, and the closure of all bathrooms. Unfortunately the beaches themselves will be closed as well, and there doesn’t seem to be a time when they will be open any time soon. Along with the Lake the 606 Trail is also back open with similar rules.

If you want to know more about the openings head on over to the main article here.
