Man Gives Half his $22 Million Lottery Win To Friend after a Promise

This story has restored my faith in humanity. A guy named Thomas Cook just won $22 MILLION in the Powerball and decided the first person he needed to call was his good buddy Joseph Feeney (both of Wisconsin) because of a promise in 1992 that if either of them won the big jackpot they would split it. The deal was sealed with a handshake and Cook never forgot that. A handshake is a handshake. Both men will take home close to $6 million after all is said and done. There's a lesson in here for all of us. Especially these days.
