- A Massachusetts man brought the Christmas spirit to the middle of a road.
- Kevin Martin planted Christmas trees in potholes to bring attention to a big road hazard.
- Last Saturday, Martin was driving to get dinner. His car hit potholes on Route 1 in North Attleborough.
- All of his tires went flat, and he had to pay $600 to get his car fixed.
- Martin said he had contacted state and local officials before about the bad potholes. There was no response.
- So he took matters into his own hands. Martin went to Home Depot and purchased potting soil and small Christmas trees.
- Early Monday morning, Martin planted the trees in the potholes.
- Message sent. By Monday afternoon, the trees had been removed, and potholes had been filled.
