A 14-year-old dog has finally been adopted from a shelter after 11 years according to KSDK.
Wiggles the female pit bull mix arrived at 5As Animal Shelter when she was three, and it took a while for her to warm up to people.
Another obstacle came up when she was diagnosed with a benign tumor in 2016. The shelter decided not to operate because it wasn’t cancerous and because of the dog’s age.
The right family came along and she now has her forever home in Missouri!
