Ford Recalling Explorer SUVs Over Fears of Roof Cover Detaching

Ford is recalling over 660,000 2016-2019 Explorer SUVs.

The SUV's roof rail covers can lose their pins, detach from the car and cause a serious driving hazard for you or someone else on the road.

The company will notify owners affected by the recall beginning June 28th.

Anyone with a recall can take their Explorer to a Ford dealership to have the rail covers secured with new push pins.

Ford says it unaware of any injuries due to the loose roof rail covers.
