It's one of the BEST days of the summer! August 26th is National Cherry Popsicle Day! Did you know how popsicles started? Well, in 1905 an 11 year-old boy named Frank Epperson mixed up a powdered soda and left it overnight with the stirring stick still in it. Temperatures got very cold that night and it turned out the liquid froze on the stick. He called his new treat the "Epsicle".
