Snake On A Plane Causes Emergency Landing

  • A snake slithering in an Air Asia light fixture caused the pilot to make an emergency diversion. 
  • On last Thursday's flight from Kuala Lumpur to Tawau, passengers noticed the snake crawling above their heads and notified the crew.
  • No one was injured, and the plane was "disinfected" after the emergency landing. 
  • A spokesperson for Air Asia said, "This is a very rare incident which can occur on any aircraft from time to time. The captain took the appropriate action. At no time was the safety of guests or crew at any risk."
