- Issues began around 8:55 pm Eastern, five minutes before the episode was scheduled to hit the streaming service.
- Viewers were met with an error that said, "Can’t Connect. We’re having issues connecting to HBO Max right now. Please try again."
- The website Down Detector monitors internet issues and reported a peak of 52,000 complaints around 9:05 pm. By 9:20, things looked to be getting better.
