Catching a home run ball at a baseball game is a dream for most people, even if you have to risk dropping a beer, nachos, OR YOUR BABY!
On Tuesday night, 31-year-old Alan Alcantara went viral after he snagged a home run at Citi Field in New York while holding his one-year-old child.
He precariously reached over the railing to catch the ball as it rebounded off the stadium outfield tarp. The child was in his other hand.
Alacantara grew up playing baseball in the Dominican Republic and said he caught many balls without a glove.
He added, "I knew I was not going to have time to put the baby down. So I decided to just hold on tight to him, jump on the rail and see if I could catch the ball. And we did."
