A group of spelunkers luckily came upon a missing dog in a cave deep underground and managed to get her to safety.
The dog, a senior named Anny, had been missing for two months.
They have no way of knowing just how long the dog was in the cave or how she survived.
Rescuers say there is some running water in the cave, and she may have eaten fish and crustaceans that were present there.
The rescue was tricky because the explorers had to coax the dog through a two-foot opening and up a tunnel 500 feet to the surface and out of the cave.
