A Florida woman is suing Kraft Heinz for $5 million, claiming the company is misleading the public about the time it takes to prepare its Velveeta mac and cheese cups. Amanda Ramirez says the company violated federal law because the mac and cheese box reads that the mac is done in three and half minutes, but by the time you open the box it takes longer than that. She says she wants the $5 Million dollars because she “looks to bold statements of value when quickly selecting groceries” and is “like many consumers who seek to stretch their money as far as possible when buying groceries." Not surprisingly, Kraft Heinz says this lawsuit is "frivolous"
