In preparation for National Perfume Day on April 14th, IllinoisBet.com found that Illinois residents’ favorite scent is the smell of gasoline. After analyzing hundreds of Google searches for popular scents in the last year, the study found that these are the top five favorite scents in Illinois:
- Gasoline – 8,040 monthly searches
- Coffee – 5,160 monthly searches
- A new car – 4,320 monthly searches
- Cinnamon – 4,080 monthly searches
- Vanilla – 2,880 monthly searches
