The U.S. Department of Agriculture is considering a ban on flavored milk in elementary and middle schools. Chocolate milk can contain as much added sugar as soda, so this ban would help “reduce exposure to added sugars and promote more nutrient-dense unflavored milk.” My kids love chocolate milk! I don’t think they would be too happy about this.
