According to The Daily Mail, Irish Singer Sinead O'Connor has passed away at the age of 56. Though the cause of her death is unclear at this time, she had suffered years of battles with mental health as well as depression after the passing of her son, Shane, who passed last year at the age of 17 after escaping a hospital while on suicide watch.
Her last tweet was a photo of her son with the text "Been living as undead night creature since. He was the love of my life, the lamp of my soul."
