Avocados Reduce Risk of Diabetes…in Women Only

A new study from Mexico found that eating avocados can reduce the risk of diabetes in women.

Women who consumed avocados had over 20% lower odds of developing diabetes compared to those who didn't eat them, even after adjusting for age, education, and physical activity.

Unfortunately, this benefit was not observed in men.

Avocados are rich in vitamins and minerals, which help lower the risk of metabolic syndrome and diabetes.
