How to lower risk of health effects from being sedentary

With studies showing that the average American spends around 9 hours sitting, it's important to sustain physical activity, especially when being sedentary is linked to a higher risk of dementia, heart problems, obesity, etc. With no need for a gym subscription, here's what you can do as a daily practice:

  • a 10 minute stroll twice a day
  • circuit training
  • 22 minutes of push-ups, planks, squats, etc.
