Splashdown is at 1:00 PM at the Columbus Drive Bridge

Every August, Special Olympics Illinois hosts the Chicago Ducky Derby, dropping 100,000 rubber ducks into the Chicago River to raise awareness and critical funds for the amazing athletes of Special Olympics Illinois.

Join in on the race, participants can adopt a duck for $10, each duck representing a chance to win exciting prizes, including a grand prize of an all-new Chevy Trax.

Each duck entry supports an inclusive community of more than 24,000 active participants, which include traditional athletes, Young Athletes, peer partners, and Unified partners.
