A German man is in hot water after running the taps and toilet in his apartment non-stop for an entire year. The AP reports that the 31-year-old left his bath, sink faucets and commode run continually, consuming some 1.85 million gallons of water over 12 months and causing “massive damage” to his building.
What’s more, police were called to the building today because the man allegedly plugged his drains, causing water to leak throughout the building. He reportedly fought with police and had to be pepper-sprayed, and has been taken to a psychiatric hospital for evaluation.
