A would-be Christmas Grinch wound up turning himself over to the police last week after he got stuck in a chimney while trying to break into a bar in Citrus Heights, California. Jesse Berube was taken into custody on Wednesday after he called 911 for help because he was stuck halfway down the chute.
Police and fire crews arrived on the scene to find the 32-year-old tightly wedged into the chimney; they were able to get him out unharmed. Berube was then arrested on suspicion of burglary and made bail on Saturday. Said cops in a press release, "Criminal Santa does not have the same skills as the real deal."
