A New York Lottery player recently won $5 million on a scratch-off ticket she hadn't intended to buy. According to New York Lottery officials, 56-year-old Oksana Zaharov recently asked the clerk at Trisha Convenience for a $1 ticket. The clerk, however, handed her a $10 Set For Life ticket.
"When the clerk handed me the wrong ticket, I felt bad so I decided to just go ahead and buy it," Zaharov explains. "I actually used the ticket as a bookmark for a couple weeks before I decided to scratch it."
