On his first day back to school after losing his dad in a shooting on the job, 5 year old Dakota Pitts had wanted an officer to escort him to class. When word got out, it turned out that 70 officers volunteered to be there to help. Dakota's dad was a Terre Haute, IN., police officer killed in the line of duty.
