It's one of my signature dishes and I've baked it for years. It's my apple pie and it's a recipe that my daughters and I know like the back of our hand. The only problem I have is lots and lots of liquid at the bottom and the crust is soggy. It looks like the secret, according to one of my favorite recipes websites, Smitten Kitchen, is to cut the appples into smaller slices and to marinate the apples first. Plus, adding tapioca flour. i'm trying this one, it looks great!
