This late 19th century home in New York was occupied by one owner from the 1960's until the 1980's. It was sold and the new owner did NOT appreciate that it had a history of hauntings that he was not made aware of before he put down the deposit. Things like doors slamming, beds shaking and ghosts walking the halls. SOOO, he sued for his money back. The case when all the way to the Supreme Court where he won and was awarded his deposit back. The home was then declared "legally haunted". The home has since had several high profile owners who never seemed to have issues in it. But, now it's for sale again and the asking price is $1.9 million.
