During the tree-lighting parade, Grand Marshals Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse light one million lights along North Michigan Avenue to kick off the holiday season.
The event is free and open to the public.

The tree-lighting parade steps off on Saturday evening as grand marshals Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse from Walt Disney World illuminate one million lights along The Magnificent Mile. The procession features spectacular floats, helium-filled balloons, marching bands and top musical performers.
