New Bear Art Installation in Chicago's Pedway

If you ever take the ped-way to work and travel underneath Marshall Fields you may have noticed some furry friends have populated the halls. Since the beginning of winter nine plastic bears crawled into the ped-way to hibernate for the season. These plastic friends are part of the Chicago Loop Alliances “Massimals in the Loop” art instillation.

The bears are currently being monitored to see how they are going to hold up in the wild, and if all goes well, they might just choose the ped-way as their home.

So next time you're down in the ped-way, or want to know what the ped-way is if you’ve never been down there, go say hi to its new inhabitants and maybe snap a fun photo!
