Get ready for a new way into town Chicago. For those of you who live out in Rockford or the Quad cities and find yourself coming into the city more often than you thought, Amtrak might make your life a bit easier. A couple days ago the folks over at Streets Blog announced that the planned lines to the Quad Cities and to Rockford might start their construction sooner than expected.
The new lines will hopefully cut down the commute from either area dramatically, with the current commute being around 2 to 2 and a half hours. So let's cross our fingers that the new line will come soon, so that we all don’t have to sit and wait an hour longer.
