IDOT Says People Are Driving 'Way Too Fast' With Less Cars on the Road

A massive 50-car pile up happened this morning on the Kennedy due to slippery roads from the overnight winter weather. 14 drivers were taken to the hospital and 30 were treated on scene.

In an interview this morning with CBS 2, Maria Castaneda of IDOT says people are driving way too fast on Chicagoland roadways due to less people being on them.

Just because the roads have less traffic, doesn't mean you should be speeding. Drive safe!
