Woodstock man plans on running for firefighter PTSD this weekend

On Saturday a local man plans on running over 80 miles to help first responder PTSD support. Start 12:00am - Woodstock SquareRun For Our Lives is a fundraiser benefiting Illinois Firefighter Peer Support. Created by Ryan Mains, a 14 year firefighter/paramedic with Woodstock Fire Rescue District, struggling with first responder PTSD.On Saturday he will run 1k for every firefighter.ems worker who died as a result of suicide in 2019.
