It's that time of the year again Chicago, when the cicadas come out to play their music across the city.
This year though is looking to be a bit special though especially for those out in the west suburbs. Trees, homes, and everything in between are beginning to be covered in big buzzing bugs, along with their shells. Experts are expecting the real emergence of the 17 year cicadas to happen in 2024 along with their pals the 13 year cicadas, which means we are all going to be in for the cicada concert of a lifetime.
