Chicago Police Officer Helps Deliver Valentine's Day baby

A Chicago police officer thought he was about to help a stranded motorist near O'Hare, but got quite the surprise when he approached the car and realized a woman was in labor and about to give birth!

The officer called for an ambulance, but the woman couldn't wait and gave birth to the baby right there in her car.

It happened near Bessie Coleman Drive and Balmoral Avenue according to ABC 7.

The CPD Superintendent posted the message on Twitter:

"A CPD officer assigned to mobile patrol at @fly2ohare stopped to assist what he thought was a stranded motorist; the next thing he knew, he was helping deliver a baby. Talk about the right place at the right time. Congratulations to mom & Happy Birthday to the newborn baby boy."
