There is a new track in Pullman for Student Athletes.

Over in the South Side a new facility has opened up to the public to help student athletes with a place to Practice.

Over in Gately Park in Pullman, Mayor Lori Lightfoot cut the ribbon to a new 139 thousand Square Foot Indoor Track Facility. This new track serves as the new flagship site for After School Matters, a non-profit group that hosts programs for students in the 8th through 12th grades.

Along with the track, the building also has an art and dance studio, music rooms, culinary spaces, tech labs, and a rooftop garden. And while After School Matters has served over 350 thousand participants in its 30-year history, this year is its largest class yet, with 14 thousand students, prompting even more of a reason for the new facility.

If you want to know more about the new track and how to help out or join After School matters, head on over to the main article here.
