Over in Englewood, parts of the Englewood Corridor could soon be getting a long overdue upgrade.
Stretching along 63rd Street and Halsted Streets, the upgrades include better lighting, clearer crosswalks, and landscaping to arterial streets. The improvements are part of the INVEST South/West, a program to bring development to the West and South side communities.
If you live in the surrounding areas, you can also go to meetings to discuss your concerns and what you think needs improvement, with suggestions for bike lanes and high-visual crosswalks being suggested in the most recent meeting.
