Attention book lovers of Chicago, some news is coming from some of the libraries around the city.
Eleven libraries will be extending their hours on Sundays to provide services and resources to families around Chicago. The move to open longer on Sundays is part of an effort to remove barriers to access for all Chicagoans.
This new extension to 11 libraries means that there will now be a total of 45 branches that will be open 7days a week. Some notable branches of the 11 include: Uptown, Rogers Park, Austin-Irving, and Greater Grand Crossing.
