Bozo Leaves Chicago.

A classic Chicago character and T.V. personality is saying farewell to the city.

For the first time in 65 years, the ownership rights of Bozo the Clown have been sold, with the buyer being actor David Arquette. At one point in time, there were Bozo shows on TV Stations all over America. Now Arquette is planning on creating an interactive experience that would include Bozo in Brooklyn Next Month.

Many of us remember Bozo for his over 40 year run on the local station WGN right here in Chicago, with at one point having a waiting list for the studio audience as long as 10 years! It is not only one of the most popular and successful children's shows here in Chicago, it is one of the most popular and successful locally produced children's shows in the history of television.
