Chicago Mask and Vaccine Mandate Ending.

It’s official Chicago, the mask and proof-of-vaccine mandate will end by the end of the month.

While it has been known that the mandates for the state were ending at the end of the month, the city has now announced that they are going to end the mandates as well. This means that proof of vaccination and masks will not be required by the city in restaurants, indoor public places, and gyms.

Face coverings will still be required in schools, health care settings, and public transportation. Along with city proper, the surrounding suburbs within Cook county will also be following suit, releasing mask mandates and proof-of-vaccine requirements at the end of the month as well.

If you want to know more about the changes coming to the city or your suburb, head on over to the main article here and check your local government website.
