When our doors opened in April 1977 at our Ronald McDonald House on Deming Street – the first House in Chicago and only the second in the world – no one knew the impact we would have on families.
Today – more than 130,000 families later – we are one of the largest Ronald McDonald House chapters in the country, providing 172 family rooms each night across 5 Ronald McDonald Houses and 3 Ronald McDonald Family Rooms with comfortable places to rest, daily meals, fun activities, and so much more.
Plus, our Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provides medical care for children in under-resourced neighborhoods across Chicagoland.
