Feline Police Officer Helps on the South Side.

Over at a South Side Police Station a furry feline has joined the ranks. While the cops keep their eyes on the crooks, the station cat named Felix keeps an eye out for the rats.

Felix was adopted by the station last year when it was found pacing in the cold outside the station. An officer saw him and let him in.

As the year went on Felix became part of the Gresham police family as part-mascot, part-rodent intimidator. Felix isn’t the only cat at the station, with another cat patrolling outside the station.

Felix has been working overtime too, with there being no confirmed sightings of rats in the police station since 2018.
