Oh Boy, Did We Ever Make Memories In Hamilton County, Indiana

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to go back to Hamilton County, Indiana, for a girls getaway with my youngest, Grace. This was our second time visiting and there was still so much to see and do! We really do need another trip back to see more! We loved how easy it was to get around (we walked to a lot of our destinations) and how easy it was to find great shopping and food.

Getting there is super easy, it's a quick drive from Chicago and will not disappoint!

Here's step one to start planning your trip.

We made Courtyard Fishers our home base. It was just gorgeous and the staff was super kind.

We walked over to Sun King Brewery at Fishers for a great meal and crazy good beer!

After a good nights rest we then started the day with breakfast at Rize

Then we drove over to do some kayaking on the White River with White River Canoe Co. We thought the rain would hold off. It didn't. But it was still a blast!

We had THE BEST ice cream at Alexander's On the Square in Noblesville.

And then on to a filet and glass of wine at The HC Tavern& Kitchen (we walked over from the hotel in Fishers). Yum! You bet we had dessert, too.

Our last day started with a run on the Nickel Plate Trail in downtown Fishers. Wow, what a beautiful trail! We we thrilled to see so many families and dog walkers/runners out there!

We finished with lunch and more tasty beer at Four Day Ray Brewing in Fishers.
