Chicago, this time of year is about sharing love and giving, not just to your friends and family, but also to your community around you. That's why I'm taking the time to highlight some non profit organizations around the city that help the community that we live in:
One of these organizations is the GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY. For more than 40 years The Depository has been focusing on nourishing our neighbors who are at risk of hunger, with their main goal to be ending hunger in Chicago. They also provide resources for those who need help such as where to find pantries, resources for families, benefit information and nutritional resources to help prepare healthy meals.
