Botanic Garden Ticket Changes

Attention to those who are planning on going to the Chicago Botanic Gardens, there are some new changes coming to the Garden. Starting next January, the Botanic Garden will start charging visitors to enter. The decision was made by the garden after looking at the millions of visitors the park had before the pandemic and the need to continue having quality programs in the garden throughout the year. Starting in January the garden will charge visitors 10 to 26 dollars for entry, and while this is a lot, the garden is planning on dropping the cost of entry to around 8 dollars later that year.

The garden is also allowing the option for a plan ahead cost where visitors can purchase a reduced ticket for a pre-planned visitation. If you are still looking to not pay at all, the garden is also offering 52 free days throughout the year. As of now though, the garden is still free, so plan your trips accordingly.
