According to the IRS, some stimulus checks will begin going out next week!! Americans who received their 2018 and/or 2019 tax returns via DIRECT DEPOSIT will get the stimulus checks no later than Wednesday (April 15th). The Government hasn't mentioned when those who are requesting paper checks will be receiving them. Those who hadn't filed their taxes should go to IRS.gov and fill out your information to get your payments faster by direct deposit.
Individuals with an adjusted gross income of less than $75,000 will receive $1,200 and married couples filing jointly with an adjusted gross income of $150,000 will receive $2,400. For people who make more, the payment is reduced by $5 for each $100 above the $75,000/$150,000. Parents will also receive an additional $500 for each qualifying child. If you are single making more than $99,000 or married with no children making more than $198,000 you are not eligible.
